Within the ancient cemetery of Tsfat rests some of the holiest Tzaddikim of all times, the famous rabbis, Yitzhak Luria – Ha’ari, Shlomo Alkabetz and others.

Most of these synagogues have survived and many of them have mysterious legends surrounding their ability to withstand the devastating earthquakes.
